She said she lost her glasses, the circular ones, but she doesn't wear any, that's where I inherited my perfect vision. I get the feeling she means Harry Potter. Over break, I told her everything that was going on and she said she was relay the message and to remain vigilant, the opposite of what I'm doing now. In her letter, she said to enjoy school and to star супергероиня. Vigilante. That's different than just being vigilant, being observatory and on my toes. If my mother wasn't Hestia Jones, I'd assume it was a word she had spelled poorly, lest she wants me as target practice as well. However, I know every word is purposeful.
But how could we win here? At Hogwarts? The Carrows are stationed here to prove a point, that the Dark Lord has control over the wizarding world's children. How do I, one Megan Jones, even start to do anything about it?

My vacation was cut short since our paranoid government thought we were running (seriously?). As for our voluntarily missing students, more power to them. There's something wrong when you're forced to go to a school where they teach Dark Arts and practice on pets. Good thing I'm not a companion type of girl.
On a different note, I'm proud to say I actually got some legitimate Quidditch practices in over break. Doubt they'll be scouting our seventh years this year, but I'm working on a separate try out for us '98 alums outside of Hogwarts.
